Partners of the FEDUP Collective enter into a mutually beneficial agreement that will ultimately benefit the transgender, gender-diverse, and intersex community. The format of these partnerships depends on the activities, mission, and priorities of potential partners and FEDUP is quite flexible to our partners needs and requests.
FEDUP may partner with for-profit and not-for-profit organizations in the field of eating disorders and the broader healthcare field that want to learn about sex and gender diversity affirming eating disorder services. In this case, the partnership will rely on financial compensation for the services provided by FEDUP.
FEDUP may also partner with other organizations solely dedicated to and led by communities underrepresented and marginalized by the ED system. In these instances, activities and services may be centered on joint collaboration from which FEDUP may not directly financially benefit. For example, FEDUP partnered with Body Reborn in 2023 to plan a joint conference named “From Theory to Practice”.

FEDUP acting as care coordinators for your practice/center:
A partner may request to pay FEDUP to act as a care coordinator, resource provider, or advocate for your clients. This could include assisting clients with finding community resources and acquiring items, medication, or care related to their identity. Practices may not be aware of specific needs of our community, or identity specific resources FEDUP provides or knows of. FEDUP can also assist clients with inaccessible or triggering paperwork, how to communicate needs and issues to your practice or a provider, or more. This would increase accessibility and connection for clients and lead to improved healing outcomes.
Other services as relevant and requested.
